There is no bar or any other facility likely to cause a nuisance, but if it's life and restaurants that interest you, there are many varied and interesting places to visit all within a 25-
Varne Ridge often plays host to distance swimmers from all over the world who come to England in the hope of swimming the English Channel.
The Channel is one, or if not, the most difficult swim in the world, making it the Mecca for all distance swimmers and their "Mount Everest", having more failures than success.
